The time was going so slow while i was waiting for the day of departure. But then, on the first day of my winter holidays i was already flying to Ålesund! My excitement wasn't only because of my love to Norway but also the winter time!
View of the window was quite funny. Why? Because while almost whole Norway was under a white featherbed, Møre og Romsdal looked like a spring at the north pole! I spent almost 2 weeks in Ålesund and the surroundings and i had three types of seasons there: spring, autumn and winter. It's all because of the climat- mountains and opened sea are a fussy mix. Even though i had seen almost everything before, there was no time for boredom!
I had spent few days at my friend's house in Valderøya (which was mentioned in my very first post). I had gone for a walk almost around the island (because my camera died midway). The weather was so beautiful and it wasn't only me who decided to go out but anyway the wildness of the rocks made it feel like i was the only one there. The tourist attraction is Skjonghellaren- a cave in the Signalen mountain. 'The opening is 38m wide and the tunnel stretches 100m into the mountain.' There was a place to climb the rocks, but because of my broken finger i didn't want to challenge the rest of my bones. Next time i'll climb the mountain as i did for the first time in Norway, and maybe others on different islands!
Most of the time i spent in Ålesund. I had to walk 1 hour to the city centre because i didn't want to be a lazy guy, taking buses or whatever. The pros were the views, anywhere you moved.

There was a day when the weather was so awful that even me, happy about the trip, got sad by the rain and greyness. So i walked through the streets, visited the old school and Storhaugen Park. Before the biggest rain, i had visited a café and read few chapters of the book. That made my day a little better, even tho the coffee costed 40korones (but i was ready for that price).
As a typical woman I had spent few hours in the mall, because of the cute stores like Søstrene Grøne or more popular-Flying tiger. They are so hygge, and full of the scandinavian feeling! I've walked to the Molovegen once to revisit the Antikk shop (where i had also found a coffee with a good price-only 20korones, unbelieveable). The lady in the shop seemed so nice and i'm sure if you need any help as a tourist, she should help. Then i walked a little further, to the end of the street, where was a Teater Fabrikken. There were great places to photograph, and i think only photos can show why.
As my biggest achievement i find buying a barntiket for the bus! Last time i was so shocked about the price of the ticket which was 40 nok but this time i was smarter and i asked in norwegian so they sold me a student ticket (only 21nok but still expensive).
