Two years later there i was again- Aalesund, Norway! You have no idea how happy i was.We flown on Saturday from Gdańsk to Vigra (AES) and after 1,5h flight we were seeing mountains and sea at the same time. It was sunny, not hot, not cold, just perfect. We stayed in the same house on Valderøy island like earlier. On Sunday we had grill with incredible views in Aalesund. My cousin was fishing so we ate sausages, fish and marshallows. I even tried to take a photo of fish eye.
Most of the time i spend on Valderøy with friends in my age or taking photos of the island. Valderøy is an amazing place for people who want to calm and take a rest of big cities. From there you can get to Vigra and Giske by bridges and also to Aalesund by only two tunels. Now there are shops like Rema 1000 or EuroSpar so people don't have to travel to city to buy food. Most of norwegian people know English well and there is no problem to contact with them. I know Norwegian a little, so except English i was using Norwegian. (short lesson: Hi!- Hei! ; Bye - Hadet ; Thank you - Takk) I noticed that a lot of people there have cats. In a place where i was living owners had one cat but on the garden there were two more, probably neighbors' pets.
After walk in Geiranger we traveled by car to Dalsnibba. If you want to get on the top of it by car you have to pay (like 100NOK) but you can go there for free by walk. It is 1476 meters high. You can see views of it online here. Fun fact is that there was a lot of snow and even on the lake was layer of ice. At the end of the trip we had sad surprise - the gearbox wasn't working. But it happend near Aalesund so it wasn't that bad.
To see whole Aalesund you have to visit Fjellstua. You can get there by car or walk - two of those options are amazing!
On next Sunday (three days before flight) we had the direction to Kristiansund. It is a city like Aalesund, but higher on the North. Don't get it wrong with Kristiansand which is on South Norway. While this travel we've visited Molde (also city like Aalesund but i think it looks better from the ferryboat.) and we got into The Atlantic Ocean Road. It's an amazing tour to take many photos. It is built on several small islands and skerries, which are connected by several causeways, viaducts and eight bridges—the most prominent being Storseisundet Bridge. Daily Mail called it "The road to nowhere" in 2011. Why? Because for some views you cannot see another part of bridge. In the same time when we were there, was (i don't remember how it was called) a tour with old cars. Many people (except from Norway) came from France. And if you are planning a trip there you must go see Hustadvika! There are many red houses with grass on the roof! This looks great.
I think that's all interesting i could share. I hope I'll visit Norway again next year because then i'll probably visit Trondheim and more more places. And i hope that maybe i help you to choose next place to visit. Norway isn't cheap but it's still perfect for many more reasons. Like my mum said "Fjords ate from my hand"!
Which place will be my next mainstay? - I don't know, but i hope i'll have next adventure very soon! I can't wait to leave my home for another place!
See ya!
