We traveled by car. From my last post you know i had an adventure with gearbox. Also this time we had problem - with speed (car couldn't reach speed over 100km/h). However after the car "relished' fuel, there were no more problems!
Firstly, we tried to get to Sopot. My mum really thought that we are in city center and when she saw turn on the pier, she swerved there. She found nice place to park so we went for the walk. This parking space was in the art school. Me and my friend both loves photography so we used it as an amazing opportunity to take photos.
Later we went to the pier. Of course my mum was still thinking that we are in Sopot and near the longest pier in Poland. And then we saw the pier - very short pier. Then i told my mum that we are in Gdynia. So yeah, my mum mistook Gdynia's pier with Sopot's pier! Anyway, weather was sunny so we had a lovely walk.
In Gdynia we spent an hour, then we get to Sopot. There were many more people and it was harder to find parking place, but FINALLY after circulating along the same streets for about 20 minutes, we found a place!
We had only 2 hours for walking on the waterfront. Sopot's architechtury is similiar to those in Gdynia and Gdańsk and i really like it. If you are coming to those places you have to visit old towns. But i didn't saw all places worth to see. We tried to walk on pier but people have to pay for it and the round for the tickets was too long!
And at the end we've visited Gdańsk! I was there so many times and to be honest i would like to study there until i'll move to other country.
Also this time we had problem to find a place to park. This is the worst thing about traveling by car! We wanted to walk on the old town. There are some things that every tourist h a v e to see, like Żuraw, Neptune's fountain or St. Mary's Church.
Truth is that the purpose of the journey was IKEA. But i'm happy that we could visit those places and i could take photos.
