Three days, three cities: Bydgoszcz-Toruń-Ciechocinek

May! And what's following on from it- the long weekend. Mum decided two months ago that we had to visit Toruń. So we took our suitcases and drived by car.... three hours to Bydgoszcz to the Museum of Soap and History of Dirt. We came an hour before our guided tour. We've walked in the old town a little, came to candy shop and ate dinner. After that we were ready to visit the museum. At first, we were making our own soaps! It was very funny. We could've chose the colour, smell and the adds to it like coffee or lavender. Later the tour guide told us about the history of dirt. She was a very nice woman with a voice which you like to listen to and the story was very interesting. Also we should be thankful for something like water and soap!

On the afternoon of that day we came to Toruń - our main goal. We were sleeping in the (not as good as we thought) hostel. We've started the sightseeing a day after. At 10 am we had planned The Living Museum of Gingerbread where we made our own  (unfortunately: not to eat) gingerbreads and we met with the history of gingerbreads and Toruń's famous "Katarzynki". Next we bought doughnuts in the old doughnuts bakery and we took our way to the Copernicus Monument. We have also visited his house which is few streets away. Nicolaus Copernicus (polish Mikołaj Kopernik) was mathematician and astronomer who formulated a model of the universe that placed the Sun rather than the Earth at the center of the universe. On our way to Planetarium my mum found lovely café called "Café Raj". Such a nice place to stay and relax for a while. While booking tickets for Planetarium you must be sure you've made it right, because that's how i did (or clearly  didn't) booked it. There was only one ticket for movie about the stars at 4 pm so my mum had to wait for the next one til 6 pm. Also in Toruń i have visited the museum of the travelers in the name of Tony Halik. Great place for someone like me. We came back to the hostel before 9 pm. For the next day my mum planned Ciechocinek and Ikea in Bydgoszcz.

Ciechocinek- a small spa town 20 minutes by car from Toruń. It is known for its graduation towers. A calm, quiet and green place were people can really relax. I was happy to came there just because of the photos i've made there, because i found Ciechocinek a little overrated.
And after that we have visited Ikea- so original.

I started May very well with a lot of oppurtinities to take photos. And it wasn't my only trip i have planned this month, so stay calm and wait for my next post.

A task for you - wake up at 5 am and go for a walk, ride by car etc. with a camera somewhere outside the city. Try to find a place with no houses - i know it's hard! I tried this few days ago and i loved the experience. Meet with the world when it's waking up!
Your photos, no matter how good or how bad - share them in the comments. I know i don't have big audience but i hope you will change it.

See ya x
