Tricity-Trójmiasto

Few days ago I've visited Gdańsk, Sopot and Gdynia with my mum, grandma and a friend. It was a one-day trip because those cities aren't so far from my home.
We traveled by car. From my last post you know i had an adventure with gearbox. Also this time we had problem - with speed (car couldn't reach speed over 100km/h). However after the car "relished' fuel, there were no more problems!

Firstly, we tried to get to Sopot. My mum really thought that we are in city center and when she saw turn on the pier, she swerved there. She found nice place to park so we went for the walk. This parking space was in the art school. Me and my friend both loves photography so we used it as an amazing opportunity to take photos.

Later we went to the pier. Of course my mum was still thinking that we are in Sopot and near the longest pier in Poland. And then we saw the pier - very short pier. Then i told my mum that we are in Gdynia. So yeah, my mum mistook Gdynia's pier with Sopot's pier! Anyway, weather was sunny so we had a lovely walk.

In Gdynia we spent an hour, then we get to Sopot. There were many more people and it was harder to find parking place, but FINALLY after circulating along the same streets for about 20 minutes, we found a place!
We had only 2 hours for walking on the waterfront. Sopot's architechtury is similiar to those in Gdynia and Gdańsk and i really like it. If you are coming to those places you have to visit old towns. But i didn't saw all places worth to see. We tried to walk on pier but people have to pay for it and the round for the tickets was too long!

And at the end we've visited Gdańsk! I was there so many times and to be honest i would like to study there until i'll move to other country.
Also this time we had problem to find a place to park. This is the worst thing about traveling by car! We wanted to walk on the old town. There are some things that every tourist h a v e to see, like Żuraw, Neptune's fountain or St. Mary's Church.

Truth is that the purpose of the journey was IKEA. But i'm happy that we could visit those places and i could take photos.
Hope you'll like Tricity like i do!

See ya!

Dreams came true (again)!

Since i was eleven years old girl i've been dreaming about living in such an amazing country called Norway. Then year later my mum took me there. It was fantastic experience and wonderful feeling to be there, f e e l it. We stayed in my mum's firends' house and after two weeks we came back by plane to Poland.

   Ålesund Senter

a road to Trollstigen

Two years later there i was again- Aalesund, Norway! You have no idea how happy i was.We flown on Saturday from Gdańsk to Vigra (AES) and after 1,5h flight we were seeing mountains and sea at the same time. It was sunny, not hot, not cold, just perfect. We stayed in the same house on Valderøy island like earlier. On Sunday we had grill with incredible views in Aalesund. My cousin was fishing so we ate sausages, fish and marshallows. I even tried to take a photo of fish eye.

Most of the time i spend on Valderøy with friends in my age or taking photos of the island. Valderøy is an amazing place for people who want to calm and take a rest of big cities. From there you can get to Vigra and Giske by bridges and also to Aalesund by only two tunels. Now there are shops like Rema 1000 or EuroSpar so people don't have to travel to city to buy food. Most of norwegian people know English well and there is no problem to contact with them. I know Norwegian a little, so except English i was using Norwegian. (short lesson: Hi!- Hei! ; Bye - Hadet ; Thank you - Takk) I noticed that a lot of people there have cats. In a place where i was living owners had one cat but on the garden there were two more, probably neighbors' pets.

On second Sunday (while being in Norway) i've visited Trollstigen and Geiranger. It wasn't my first time, because i saw those places two years ago. Anyway it was a new experience cuz i was older and i had a chance to take photos from other perspectives. Like last time there was a snow on the mountains tops but not only. I even have a photo with snow! That's weird to touch snow on July. On the road to Geiranger there was a place to stop and see Geirangerfjord and The Seven Sisters waterfall. It's an amazing view, if you are going to visit a place near it, you should stop there!

After walk in Geiranger we traveled by car to Dalsnibba. If you want to get on the top of it by car you have to pay (like 100NOK) but you can go there for free by walk. It is 1476 meters high. You can see views of it online here. Fun fact is that there was a lot of snow and even on the lake was layer of ice. At the end of the trip we had sad surprise - the gearbox wasn't working. But it happend near Aalesund so it wasn't that bad.

Of course i visited Aalesund few times, once i even have a "work" (i was handing out the handbills of my aunt's beauty studio). While being there i had an opportunity to see many ships from all over the world. It was "The Tall Ships Races 2015" but the biggest event of it was planned on the same day when we were going back to home. That was a pitty. I heard that there will be many concerts and a lot of cool things.

To see whole Aalesund you have to visit Fjellstua. You can get there by car or walk - two of those options are amazing!

On next Sunday (three days before flight) we had the direction to Kristiansund. It is a city like Aalesund, but higher on the North. Don't get it wrong with Kristiansand which is on South Norway. While this travel we've visited Molde (also city like Aalesund but i think it looks better from the ferryboat.) and we got into The Atlantic Ocean Road. It's an amazing tour to take many photos. It is built on several small islands and skerries, which are connected by several causeways, viaducts and eight bridges—the most prominent being Storseisundet Bridge. Daily Mail called it "The road to nowhere" in 2011. Why? Because for some views you cannot see another part of bridge. In the same time when we were there, was (i don't remember how it was called) a tour with old cars. Many people (except from Norway) came from France. And if you are planning a trip there you must go see Hustadvika! There are many red houses with grass on the roof! This looks great.

I think that's all interesting i could share. I hope I'll visit Norway again next year because then i'll probably visit Trondheim and more more places. And i hope that maybe i help you to choose next place to visit. Norway isn't cheap but it's still perfect for many more reasons. Like my mum said "Fjords ate from my hand"!

Which place will be my next mainstay? - I don't know, but i hope i'll have next adventure very soon! I can't wait to leave my home for another place!

See ya!
